Crikey the thread is totally correct now more than ever.. that 812 replacement is horrendous, and the name?? Price is as expected, ridiculous cost now. Should have bought that F12 that FFinally bought last year, damn got to get going and purchase a F12 quickish.. Problem is all the main dealer cars are Red, want a grey or blue one but must have Carbon Race Seats. Any one here got a minter? Prefer Ferrari warranty on it, no missed services, and like Carbon Inside over Carbon Outside… Damn that 12 Cilindri is an acquired taste..

Sorry, have what you want, but not selling! This new one is a disappointment and would expect prices of the back catalogue F12 & 812 to rise. GLWS or make me an offer I can’t refuse, haha.

Mine is still pretty mint with 1800 and change on the clock. Ffsh and approved warranty for another 15 months but is missing some of your must haves although it is grey.

I'm leaning towards getting the new one but will wait until I've seen it in the flesh in maranello later this month before I decide.

Thanks Soleith.. prefer a higher mileage car, one that has done 2000 miles average per year, will be driving it over a low mile kept in garage kind of car. Seems you might end up keeping it anyway. Will follow your decision on here and if you do decide to sell will get in contact for spec if I’ve been unsuccessful with my search.. Think yours was the 2017 90 Mile car at H R OWEN?

Yep, that's the one! I wanted a "new" F12 so got this one, was a bit worried about getting something that old which hadn't been driven but it's been flawless which my Roma never was!

Looking back over my notes, prices are down(like all cars) since I started this thread, however it'll be interesting to see what happens now. Do they stay firm given the 812's replacement cost, will more be traded into the network?

Notes? Your comedy notes… down, what are you talking about, have you seen Main Dealer prices, I’m not talking about that horrendous Interior one at Simon Furlonger, that’s no outlier of the market. Real world experience, Romans sold their F12 at 177 to a guy who had already put down on a 812, saw both cars bought the F12 within a week. Non Red cars seem to fly off the shelves, unlucky for me because I can’t do Red Ferrari anything. Those notes of yours are only good for the fireplace now. I don’t know how this horrendous 12 Cilindri will affect prices but my gut says F12 & 812 will stay strong for obvious reasons. My preference is F12, but can see 812 strong as well with the non GPF Coupe.

I understand not wanting to lose too much in depreciation, but (here in Kent at least) it’s a glorious day, just the sort of one when an early drive is a huge pleasure, and every day you delay is another day that you don’t get to own and drive the car that you want.

Let’s hope so…. I’ve one of the last non GPF 812’s, mega Atelia spec, Grigio. The engine is the absolute pinnacle as far as I’m concerned. Looks aside, not for me is a longer, wider, heavier, inferior sounding 12C going to be a worthy £200k upgrade (F12 owners will likely feel the same- can’t see nice cars falling at all).

Some people are dreamers, I wouldn’t place much weight on their comments.

Whats wrong with tracking price etc? Its a chunk of cash to lay out, so nothing wrong in seeing how much the real cost is.

I can't put my notes in the fire, as laptops don't burn great!

Look who is back.. to try and single-handedly bring down F12 prices again! Call yourself Frankly Chop Suey, because that is what you speak about. A guy who is worried about depreciation all the time rather than buy and drive, then goes and buys a money pit Mclaren 650S!! You cant make it up, too funny. Head back into your aunts loft for a tommy tank this bank holiday..

Was at Brooklands yesterday - was parked next to a TDF and saw one other light silver F12. Am also going to Maranello end of the month to see the new car - maybe we are on the same trip Soleith as mine is with HRO as well.

Was at Goodwood today for cars and breakfast. Lots of nice metalwork, I forgot and was too late to register the F12 so went with a mate in his car that was in the showcase.

30th? Will be good to meet another forum member!

Why are you trying to be so offensive, you come across as very insecure you should speak to someone about it.

Yes I have bought a 650s, i'm not sure why you think its a money pit, or what thats got to do with anything?

Why would you say the 650s is a money pit? I’ve a spider, and five years of ownership has cost me about £5,000 all-in.

Fyi romans of st albans sold a grey f12 for 139,995.
Prices I’d imagine would naturally come down when 812 prices start to tip into the high 100’s. The one at Simon furlonger could probably be bought even cheaper also

That st Albans car sold over a year ago and they kept the advert up for months, and even though I’m not a fan of 812 looks, they are not coming down to high 1’s due to the release of 12 cilindri. 6 months ago when I was um and argh on a F12 a 812 was offered to me at 199,995 with 38000 miles on it, they sold it 15 mins after going live and the phone never stopped until advert went off Ferrari System. Admitted they priced it wrong and let the deal go through with first caller. Anyway it’s a forum and all about opinions.
