Another option is the Sidi Crossfire 3 with the enduro sole.

I've got the Tech 7 and while they're comfy, they're pretty useless in mud
It's weirdly annoying right? Given the number of muddy enduro events, you'd think one of the boot manufacturers might have come up with something.

Went for a long ride to the new forest on Saturday. Test ride a Guzzi Mandello.

Boxhill on Sunday, was cold and wet.

Nothing beats blokes standing around looking at bikes!

I saw (heard) a Guzzi recently. it was mid 90s at a guess and sounded awesome. Unfortunately I was in the car and could not get around the roundabout quick enough, but heard it go full chat. Guzzi always remind me of my dear departed CX500, like the grown up parent!

What did you think of the Guzzi? I love the look of them especially that new model.
I rode the regular model. The s has better suspension.

Ride is super comfortable. Great wind protection. Gearbox is not the best. Engine is really great, when reved it has great power, surprising performance and epic economy. Dash is very informative. Loved the looks too.

Raised leading edges of the sipes indicates your rebound is a bit slow...... might have been a contributing factor to the sliding..

You're welcome hehe
Good shout and makes sense. Suspension is all stock I just run it in A1 the hardest active suspension setting on the dash
I would also recommend that you don't run the suspension in active mode, you're too fast for it to manage...
If there's a fixed mode that let's you dial in the preload, comp and rebound values and "freeze" them without the active element of the system changing them based on senor inputs, I'd really look at that. There's isn't an active suspension system out there that can deal with a faster rider and they typically get their panties in a bunch and become very inconsistent lap to lap.

Sidi do a specific enduro boot.

The X Power, it’s like a Crossfire but with a proper sole for grip.

Thanks.

I liked the look of that 1600E but my budget may stretch to the Model T Ford or the V8 Pilot.

Have you noticed how many auctions there are now? We flicked through Old Bike Mart and nearly every page had an advert for another, almost one a week!

For me it's that Mk2 Lotus Cortina cloud9
I have Si, they're popping up all over the place. I too liked the Mk2 Lotus Cortina, it was in good fettle.

The first ride out was very enjoyable, called in to see a mate on the shore of Loch Eribol for a coffee and back home before the nc500 stupidity started.

This picture came up on a sidecar racing forum on FB.

Same two blokes, 60 years apart. I thought it was a cracking pic smile
