It's way too early to start the weather thread, so here it is smile

As unfortunately the cat passed away (Was it Kriters cat?) I've had to use MetCheck

It doesn't change anything if it's rain or shine for me other than the roof on the car is on for the wet weather.

That's what we like to see. By law of averages, it means Classic next year will be glorious biggrin

It won't be raining on my comfy chair in front of the TV.

Seriously though, I hope it turns out better than that for you all.

Since we lost the cat I’ve lost all interest in the weather tbh.

Well that and that we now have a house rather than slumming it in a tent like some kind of animal.

Animals sleep in tents? They must camouflage them really well. biggrin

Having checked the weather trend on various sites, I suspect Le Mans 2024 may not involve shorts (the fabric variety).

What is your threshold for shorts? Needs to be pretty bloody cold for me to abandon them. Will still wear if it’s wet weather too.

I've never considered myself to have a specific threshold, but psychologically I would estimate a temperature forecast needs to show an average ambient celcius figure of 20 or above for me to abandon the trouser and don the short.

Wow! Quite high then! I’m more of a long trousers only when absolutely necessary kind of guy.

We are glamping so same. No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

I've found that the weather at LM can be 4 seasons in 1 day at times & a bit like at Spa you can have a split between 1 side of the circuit & the other. We've seen hail, heavy rain & scorching sun all in one day & back in about 2018 it was verging on too hot with low 30s. When the weather changes it can blow in/out very quickly. We're prepared for pretty much anything given we live in the UK biggrin

Sorry to inform you chaps but as I'm having a year off it will no doubt piddle down. Always happens in the 3/4 times i've not gone in 20 years
