Q5 45 tfsi realistic mpg

Drive about 15,000 miles a year and can’t find a TDI in the spec I want.

I’m assuming that the petrol will average 30mpg, is it that realistic ?

Just about; mixed use high 20s is average, and I normally see and low-mid 30s on a run.

Probably could do a bit more if your driving style is smooth.

I buy and sell these regularly and see similar comments from most drivers.
