There’s obviously rumours that Adrian Newey is moving to Ferrari but that’s a team with money, top drivers now and in the future and an abundance of technical ability already. Where’s the challenge there?
It would be exciting to see him back at Williams or in another midfield team and see how much he can improve them.

Ferrari. He will have to double as the Strategist of course.

Would love to see him going to Williams. Would have free reign there.

Surely getting the strategy wrong is an Italian trait? I’ve worked for both Alfa and Lancia importers in the UK and there were times or events when you had to wonder what they were thinking.

Williams with Alex and Carlos but that’s just a fantasy that would resurrect the team to its former glory.

Yes. That would be like Dalglish, Shearer and Sutton going to Blackburn Rovers and winning the Premiership.
(for those with long memories)

There are many teams who one could argue need his input, but how many of them could capitalise on it? How many of them have got the cash and facilities, and a competitive engine and driver package, to turn his thinking into reality on the race track? How many have got the cachet and allure to get him to put his best foot forward at 65

I don't think there are many, and I do think it's why all the speculation comes back to Ferrari despite the fact that I would like to see him at Brackely or Woking.

I would think Newey would be likely to attract additional sponsorship/money to any team he decided to join.

After watching the Eddie wants a discount off his yacht video, im sure the team that will be getting him and benefitting F1 most is Ferrari.
Lewis needs to scrap his pretty naff F1 film. In 5 years time with a bit of luck they can make one starting from last lap of 2021 season that will be amazing.

Audi comes close to replicating what he did at RBR. Hinwil was highly regarded in the past and yes that was more than a decade ago but maybe with Audi investment and direction from Newey it can unleash its potential again. Audi will probably give him some freedom to work on other projects - Ducati MotoGP? Even with the new regs bike aero is different to cars.

The unknown is we don't what Audi's management will be like at F1 level whereas at Ferrari there's blame and calling for people's heads coming from the very top.

Williams is too much of a pipe dream. It needs a reset and will take a lot of time and money.

Yeah, how can this even be a debate? Obviously the team that's got the most room for improvement.

Or is one of the options Red Bull?!!

Would love to see him sign for Andretti, try saying no to them then, can't imagine he's looking to build something from the ground up again though
