Free slideshow software

I'm trying to put together a slideshow of photos to be shown at my Mum's wake. I used to use proshow gold which enabled you to put all the photos into the program and it just created the slideshow. All the ones I have tried have either had very basic backgrounds or literally one photo then the next with no transitions. I am trying to make it look a little polished but I have no experience and need to program to do it for me.

Any suggestions please for Windows 10? Something that enables nice transitions, backgrounds and allows me to shuffle the photos
