Hi, I'm in Caerphilly, just getting stuck in to an unstarted Sylva J15 kit together with a 2010 Hayabusa engine. Look forward to getting some advice on local suppliers for driveshafts, exhaust, geometry, etc as time goes on!
welcome! make sure you set up a build thread in the 'readers cars' section, likely to get more info for stuff there. for local stuff posting in the South Wales main section will be seen by more than in here i'd imagineirfan1712 said:
Im from Aberdare..rarely see any PH'ers locally. Just sold my R32
I'm just over the mountain in Maerdy. over Aberdare couple of times a week. Pretty sure I've seen you about in the R32, but cant say I noticed a smiley on the car to associate it with a PH member.
Only thing I noticed over there usually was the V8 Vantage in Gulf livery, but not seen it for a while.
Not driving anything special myself, just a basic 3series with a smiley on the boot. I'll keep an eye out for you and give a wave if we ever pass by.
Been a member of PH since 2012 I've changed vehicles over the last few years so here's an up date, I needed a stable mate for my 986 Boxster, this was my first Ducati I couldn't resist it and traded in my R6, it made a perfect match with my wife's Yellow BMW Mini as well.
But after the Porsche got written off by a polish artic HGV the best replacement I could get for it was a "Guards Red" 987 Boxster, so I had to change the Duc, for a Red 848,
Loving the newer 848 (and the newer Boxster) although it's only 99 CC's bigger it's as if they have added another 250 (complete Bike) CC's to it compared to the 749.
love them both, so if you see any of the last two around Ystrad Mynach Thumbs up all round.
Guvs.
Still have the 749 such a lovely bike I haven't tried too hard to sell it.
