Spotted somone in a PH jersey at the top of old winchester hill on sunday
If it was approx 9.30 the that would have been me! It was the first time it had been worn in years!

Yes there was a Sportive based from Swanmore school. I was unintentionally cycling in the opposite direction for much of the route. BTW i like your name. Had a 156 V6 back in the day.....My finances have only just recovered
Ah that makes sense! We were on a club ride and accidentally joined the route for part of it.Mine was a 2.0 twin spark. Long gone, but I look back fondly (and with rose tinted glasses, it left me stranded I think 3 times, used a litre of oil every 6-800 miles and went through wishbones faster than tyres.) it was just shy of 150,000 miles when I changed it though. So it did some things right.

Sunday 24th July - followed a red PH jersey into Wargrave from Henley - sat behind you for a little while in a not very P/H, rattly Fiat Doblo van!
About 2pm? That would be me!If it looked like i was struggling... i was. Been a while since ive done a road ride, had just about run out of water and the headwind for the last 10 miles was a killer!
