What is 'RMSD"?
Royal Mail Special DeliveryI only as as they lost an item of mine last year.
They said it had been returned to sender and wouldn't entertain any claim.
I pleeded with them to investigate it, heard nothing.
Wouldn't ever trust post again with an expensive item
I knew which day it was due back and just missed the postie, so I went looking for them. The postie, who was aged about 13, was carting all the mail for their round in a little pull-along trolley thing. When I found them a few streets away, they had left the trolley completely unattended at the end of the road and were carrying the post for that road to deliver it. My watch, albeit in an anonymous-looking box, was sat in an open side pocket of the trolley, such that I was able to pick it up and wait for the postie to come back to the trolley when I said "that's for me" and took it home.
A well-known PHer once offered to lend me something on a SOR basis, which he sent via RMSD. It never arrived, and I initially had some slightly awkward conversations with him as to whether I'd actually received it or not.
I don't know what would be a better option than RM but there has to be one.

Limited edition undone X Kevin lions watch, full set including the original Ltd edition print, I think I've worn this twice! Price includes RMSD. £330
This is growing on me, I find myself strangely tempted! Never been a fan of chronos and don't own any, but the subs on this are well camouflaged!-Cappo- said:
I sent my Omega away for repair to an indy. It was sent and returned using RMSD.

That’s amazing, it doesn’t surprise me at all though.I knew which day it was due back and just missed the postie, so I went looking for them. My wife is friends with a lady from Qatar and while they were at university together she bought her husband-to-be a watch from Harrods and posted it to Qatar with Royal Mail. It got lost in the post and she didn’t get the money back. My wife didn’t know what watch it was but you can almost guarantee it was a decent loss because she is from a wealthy family and was distraught.

Hi all.
Seen another Seiko diver I want so am selling my Seiko Monster SRPD25 to make way.
I’ll pop this link in for the specs to keep my post tidy: https://www.seikowatches.com/us-en/products/prospe...
Watch also comes with an official Seiko silicone band. This is the same band that comes on the SRPD27, but in blue. I liked the silicone band on the 27 - which I bought first - but returned it a couple of days later for the sunburst blue dial and bracelet of the 25. I then added the band at a later date, giving best of both worlds
Watch has hairline marks on bracelet and clasp from wear; I’ve tried to capture it best I can in one of the photos.
Watch comes with everything from the original purchase; warranty card, “swing tags” (if you can call them that ), spare links, etc.
Looking for £275 which will include postage.
Cheers,
Dan

Anybody got a Heuer Carrera they are wanting to part with? not a TAG Heuer just a Heuer!
I am thinking about parting with my Tudor GMT pepsi with black dial.
Mine is having a service and refurb at the moment. I’ve not worn a watch at all for over a year now, so if it doesn’t get worn once it’s back it might be for sale later in the year. Lovely thing, but it’d be a shame for it to stay in a drawer. I am thinking about parting with my Tudor GMT pepsi with black dial.
NOW SOLD
Anyone fancy this Omega Deville Quartz. It needs a new battery. Very slim and elegant watch that could worn as a daily. Complete with its original purchase invoice. £250ovno. It’s in Cardiff if you happen to be in the area

Unused as new, now sold out on Rec's own site. Beautiful bit of kit, tried on once but too big for my wrist and only just got round to advertising. Currently on Chrono24, DM for link in case mods don't allow on here.
