Christ almighty some of you really love an argument. It's like a forum full of 14 year old girls.

Anyone got any news about Ratarossa?

He got a bit of stick on here some pages back but there's been no updates from him for a month and that can't be good for the algorithms.

I quite like him and hope he's ok.

I also want to see the 512BB finished!

According to Instagram he was waiting for his Tesla to charge yesterday.

He may still be there.

I thought the same

He seems to be doing lots of shows - and was building towards something big, but not much content.

Likewise - was really looking forward the 512 completion and what might happen to it

How damaging to very established creators is not posting weekly? For smaller channels it’s a death knell but I imagine for larger channels there’s a little breathing room. I saw that “it’s Joel” took a few weeks break and it didn’t seem to be too damaging.

Depends how you class damage.

If videos aren't going out, the revenue quickly drops.

Scott's fine - just got lots going on.

This thread is horrific now. I just had a flick through, STG was right in what he said on the smoking tyre.

Good to hear. Thanks.

I shouldn't care about a chap I've only seen on a video any more than I care about the latest shenanigans with actors or pop stars but he does seem quite personable and I like the idea of an ordinary guy restoring Ferraris at his kitchen table. I also like the way he asks his viewers for help with sourcing parts and then gives them thanks in later videos.

I did wonder with Tim being in the USA if he was going to surprise everyone by taking part in the Goldrush rally, but I have not seen the Ford GT in any of the footage of the rally.

Figures wise TDC is doing a fair bit better than Auto Alex these days.

1. TDC
2. AutoAlex
3. AutoAlex V2
4. ATG
Was surprised with this comment so checked, dont see the same myself and I had a quick look at last 3 / 5 / 8 videos. AutoAlex doing materially better than TDC no matter what trend you use (I have ignored the latest autoalex video as released12hrs ago).

My impression and views confirm is that TDC and ATG got a huge boost at the beginning but they are now settling down to their normal numbers which is much less than autoalex (in TDC case it looks they are at 60% of Autoalex numbers). If they dont get budget / projects / new ideas then I expect this gulf will only grow.
AA is just a mess.
Just buy another random car and then it dissapears.
What happened the the LWB Jag, The Merc was it with the mad exhaust and high mileage volvo for example ?

There was also a M3 into the Estate car too at one time.

It is getting hard to follow the fleet. Was the Merc not deemed uneconomical to repair? The Volvo was given away at ShedFest, and the M3 estate is still being rebuilt I think. Updates to the fleet are mentioned on the podcast, but even then it's easy to lose track. There was a video a few weeks back where Rory bought the Disco 3, but a couple of days later in the podcast it was revealed he never bought it because it needed a transmission rebuild or something, and Taylor had bought it.

Think an occasional V2 video updating on the fleet would help.

I'm pretty sure the Jag and Merc were sold. As for the M3 estate that is being worked on still I believe as it's having a full nuts and bolt restoration if I remember rightly as I'm sure in the podcast Alex had said it was costing nearly £50k

He comes in here and posts lies about other creators though so a lot of the drama could well be coming from him.
You have proof of this I assume?

He did actually admit to it on the smoking tire podcast.. although I suspect it was a little exaggerated

He did actually say that, but it seemed very tongue in cheek, and I suspect he was just throwing it out as a a little bait to see what bites. Some people take things far too literally.

Exactly. But then I'm fairly sure 614-HSO is barely out of short trousers so it's not surprising.

Do you think he was the person who was imitating your username? Or should I say, do you now think he was the person who was imitating your username?

I don’t know if anybody follows Normal Guy Supercar here, but this was an interesting story:

Why would someone try to buy a car from the USA in Iraqi dinars, they would be better off trying to use one of those crypto currencies for a scam surely?
