Looks like I owe geeman an apology, if he would like to suggest a cancer charity I will make a donation in his name
No apology needed, I took no offence to your comment. I’m surprised not much mention of Gerald’s health has been made. Was it already known in the U.K. because I’m in the U.S. Got4wheels said:
Sat and binged it this evening, I've only just finished it and it was utterly gripping. The room feels slightly dusty right now, each episode had it's moment.

Started it last night and had to force myself to stick to one episode. Don't want to get through it all too fast Michael

It’s a tough one. It’s too good to stop but annoyed I’ve already finished it! Like others say, a bit of a bombshell at the end. Please, if I could ask. I have a gut feeling what will be happening in ep4, but for those of us taking our time with the episodes, no spoilers to ruin it for us.
Probably worth a listen from tomorrow if you're of a farming persuasion.

Pretty much this. A strong start, and saw a different side to Clarkson as Pepper was bundled in to the cow waggon

That was utterly insincere. If he wanted to keep Pepper he would have done. 5 minutes later he was talking about chopping pigs up. It’s entertaining viewing but is becoming increasingly contrived. I'm not so sure. He's not renowned for welling up, I certainly couldn't do so on command. And yeah, it may be 5 minutes on TV, but the pig chat could be another day, week or month. What's he supposed to do, never speak about meat production again, because Pepper?Fermit said:

Why not keep her then? 1000 acres and about £100m gives him a lot of options.geeman237 said:

Just chewed through the current episodes, such a emotional rollercoaster.. I couldn't do it
It’s too much like rolling the dice at every turn. Will it rain, will it be cold, will prices rise or fall, will the animals get disease, will the fking council mind their own business? Constant worry and no certainty.UTH said:

I'm 2 episodes in, so I've just watched the "constructing the pig pens" one. I have to say - Lisa is impressive. What a trouper - quite prepared to muck in and do a shift. He landed on his feet there.
Yep was thinking exactly that too. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
