Couldn't find any topic for this so thought I'd start one.

Thought the initial 90% question was indeed a little tricky, I spent a while thinking where's the catch before realising there probably wasn't one and it was a case of just counting the cars.
Couldn't do the left hands one simply because I just couldn't really make out the hands that well which seemed a little unfair.
Couldn't do the Ibiza = 23 one either although obvious when it was explained.
And once again didn't get the 1% question but pretty obvious when it was explained.

Far better watching this on catch up so you can fast forward through the dross in between the questions.

By fast forwarding through the dross, you probably missed one of the best lines on a quiz show from Lee Mack regarding human biology and infectious diseases!!

Yes, that was a good line smile

As an aside, I'm sure there was a thread on this when the show first appeared but I can't find it.

there was a question about 4 people eating nachos (think it was nachos) and the question was about who was sitting opposite who etc.

when they gave the answer it turned out that one of the players wasn't actually eating any at all so in fact the basis of the question was false.

It stated one wasn't eating any in the question so not really false.

Here’s the question - was there 4 or 5 people in total ?

if there was 4 in total then the first sentence is incorrect because one of them wasn't eating.

for it to be possible that "four friends are eating nachos" to be true, there must have been a fifth person if one of the 4 wasn't eating but the picture suggests that there was only 4. if there was 5 then the seating positions mean that no-one was sitting opposite anyone

You're reading too much into it. The person who ate the most is opposite the person to Regan's left. On Regan's left is Lucero, opposite them is Nic. Case closed. It doesn't matter whether Regan ate any nachos or not.

It's a classic trick in these questions, include a bit of irrelevant information to make you doubt yourself.

but it says " FOUR friends are eating" - if one of them is not eating then only three are eating so the first sentence is incorrect smile

if you don't agree then presumably you would be happy for all 4 people in the car to get a speeding ticket when the driver passes a camera van at 90 " four people were driving... "

In tonights game for the question about the answer being the number of letters in the word number to the left of the equals sign.
The answer was THREE. As the camera panned around the players one guy who was out was clearly waving 3 fingers
