I believe they changed it back when they got loads of complaints, I could be wrong though. LordHaveMurci said:

I believe they changed it back when they got loads of complaints, I could be wrong though. The last bottle of the stuff I bought (maybe three years ago at a guess) was absolutely useless! If it's better now I'll try it again.
After our wild camp last weekend we threw some stuff in the car (camper needs an oil change) and picked up a new blackout tent and headed for coast. Stayed on a site for a few days and hated it!
So this weekend we are back in the tender and a few hours down river again to a quiet back water. Mesh fire pit in to its third year.

And thus has begun the competition to see whose phone/vape uses the least watts to charge
A staple of YouTube camper types! Always seem to praise it as reliable. And thus has begun the competition to see whose phone/vape uses the least watts to charge
So after heading north for every wild camp I've done I've decided I'm going south but only as far as the peak district!!
I'm looking at Mam Tor or Kinder Scout but I'm usually a woodland camper so slightly worried about the weather so might try snake wood instead unless anyone has any other recommendations for any spots lower down?

The majority of Mam Tor and Kinder is pretty exposed - there is a small copse along the mam tor ridgeline but having never explored it I don't know if there's anywhere relatively flat in there! Mam Tor also gets busy quite early!I'm looking at Mam Tor or Kinder Scout but I'm usually a woodland camper so slightly worried about the weather so might try snake wood instead unless anyone has any other recommendations for any spots lower down?
We did find a partially sheltered spot below the Mam Tor summit (about 10/15m down, on the side that faces Castleton/overlooks the Broken Road). There's a natural flat path with a bit of a bank that provided some shelter, until the wind shifted!
I think up around Lady Bower would be good, plenty of woodland/much more remote feeling if you pushed up to around Cut Gate/Slippery Stones at the far end of the reservoir. There's also a number of cloughs with little used footpaths on both sides of the two reservoirs that would be nice places to stop. I just need to find the time!!

Agreed. Hopefully will ultimately result in a Right to Roam south of the border too. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/jul/3...

Darwall must be the most hated landowner in England and Wales - by other landowners! His action has triggered a far larger and popular movement nationwide....
