Hi all,

Looking to purchase this 458 and wondered if the previous owner may be a member on here?

Registration is V888RAR

Thanks
Tom

The link you posted sends my antivirus crazy.

This looks to be the same car > https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2010-ferrari-4...
That's the car, I also found this when doing digging on it.

Car has been sat since 2021 and just had a major completed at Grey Paul, just over £5k. Mileage was confirmed by dealer as I thought it could of been a clocker.

Cant be the mileage has gone down
Mileage on collecting cars was 29969, it's just over 30500 now

Would the gap in service history be a put off? Given its had the remaining years all done by main dealer and a major completed in February?

My only worry is given how long it's been sat doing nothing could ultimately be more risky with failures.

I've viewed the car twice and it is a lovely example, just these bits that are bugging me with the purchase.

Hi Tom

This looks to be my old car. I had it for almost 5 years, bought from and always serviced by Maranello Egham. Car was faultless throughout my ownership but be wary as it had around 29k miles when i sold it on back in 2020 so i would definately question the mileage

Hope this helps
George
Hi George
Thanks for this.
Did you sell the car through collectingcars?
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2010-ferrari-4...

I can see it had just under 30k and was sold back in 2021.

From what I'm told it was a collector who purchased the car and it was just left garaged.

I did ask Grey Paul when discussing the inspection notes if it could potentially have been clocked and they stated not. If it didn't have the after market exhaust they would of allowed the warranty on the car. Even the discs were only <5% worn.

Hi George

That would be great to chat, I've tried emailing you but you look to have it disabled.

This could possibly be to be the car, which shows as 26,500
https://dreamcargiveaways.co.uk/competitions/ferra...

Think I just need to give this one a miss as the more digging I do, the more dodgy it looks, which is a shame!

This is a lovely 458 in Rosso Scuderia with Nero at Carrs Ferrari.

2013 car, only 3x owners, full main dealer history and 24,000 miles.
Very similar car, thanks for the heads up.

I'll give them a call, but likely sold as it's on their site.

Thanks everyone for your advice, managed to locate majority of the history and it's been passed around through competitions ie 7dayperformance and dreamcar, plus modified to some degree.

I've passed on this one and hopefully find a good example soon 👍

Just shows how easy it is to “hide” the history of these cars.

I think this is why an annual service, mot etc is a must even if the miles are low.
Agreed, I was lucky on this one.

Someone has bought it now too...
