Clearly a man of excellent taste. I have one of these too!
Flame Red was the free colour for a long time. I had a white one and honestly loved it. Some people say it looks funny and, well, it does... But it was still a great car.Anyway most pure EVs look a bit funny, including Tesla. It's only the ICE conversions that tend to look normal.

It’s very ugly. It’s pretty much been free commuting.

I genuinely didn’t know what colour it was until it turned up. Didn’t care.

It looks better in some colours than others - I had a loan of the electric blue coloured one from work for a few months, that did look a bit odd. I really like the red, I hadn’t realised it was the free colour. It’s never going to be the prettiest or fastest car in the world, but as you say, pretty much free commuting, and it’s very relaxing to drive. It’s very ugly. It’s pretty much been free commuting.
(Apart from longer distances where any sort of public charging is required. My brain can’t handle the mental gymnastics required to work out where to stop, whether I’m going to make it or not, how fast to drive, how the weather affects the energy consumption etc!)
There are about 6-7 in the work car park. Mine is the only red one.
Quattro estate.

Any more than about 50 miles, I fire up the Living in California and only 38 miles from the Fremont factory, Tesla's are 2 a penny around here! I like them a lot and the 3 looks better the more I see it. However, as with many vehicles in CA, most don't display a front plate and it looks bland without it, unlike the S which looks good. I did see you can buy stick-on grills off eBay - anyone seen these? Can't decide if they would look crap or not. I guess in the UK, it's not a problem as you all have to display the front plate...
