Pretty awful if I’m honest (compared to what I am used to) much louder than the Volvo on the motorway, struggling to have a conversation with rear passengers. Seats are very uncomfortable, not wide enough for me (I am 17st though!!!) and the suede material in the centre of the Gt-line seats makes you sweat!
Fuel consumption on a work commute is a huge improvement, getting around 46mpg whereas used to get about 28 in the Volvo. Not a huge difference on the motorway, get about 39mpg.
Still loads of little niggles/annoyances that I haven’t got used to yet but I’m sure I will, only done 350 miles in it so far.
Not what I was hoping to hear! I'm coming from a Cupra that I had as a cheap lease during COVID so hoping it will be more of a positive move. Should have had an XC60 by the sounds of things though!Fuel consumption on a work commute is a huge improvement, getting around 46mpg whereas used to get about 28 in the Volvo. I took delivery of an Experience Green two tone GT-line S PHEV 4WD yesterday.
Previously had an Optima GT-Line S diesel. That was a lovely comfy wafty cruiser, just lacking in power.
I have to say I think the car so far is phenomenal, very comfortable (i'm 6'4"), technology is fantastic, spec is insane, performance is good for what it is, the looks are I think the best in class, the interior is superb.
In EV mode, I don't find the tyre noise too much at all, even on the dreaded M20 concrete surface. No idea on what I'll get from a tank of fuel/hybrid but it'll certainly be cheaper than the last car.
Ordered March.

Finally got my HEV 4 Sportage and have to say very impressed so far. Very good mph on local trips and great technology. Really enjoying it and the overall impression is very positive.
Need some more details once you’ve lived with it. MPG on trips, how much time spent on electric? What did you come from before? Road noise and wind noise on a motorway?Ok last car Sportage Gen 3 model 3 for 6 years. New one is 3 weeks now and just done a long mostly motorway trip over last few days. Sport mode much quicker than Eco. Did 389 miles at 47.1mpg - and pushed it at times to try it out! Rest of trips very local and varied but around 45mpg. Can’t say how much electric as goes in and out of EV mode at any time. Better than my diesel and much cheaper! Ride really good and road noise mostly much better except on poor road surfaces then the same. Tech has taken bit to get used to but easier now and change display regularly- also mode buttons very useful - love it. Like self driving! Minus - boot not auto but knew that when bought it. Overall 9/10.
Had an update on my PHEV that i have on order as a company car. They've advised the standard colour has now changed to yellow (Lemon Splash) so i can either proceed with the new free colour, otherwise have to re-quote the whole car to choose an optional colour. I ordered back in March so re-quoting is 100% likely to end up a more expensive car. Looks like im having a yellow SUV
Annoyingly the current expected delivery date is December 2022, but since i can still choose a new colour i'm guessing this means it wont be coming from Korea in the next 3 week! This is through Lex Autolease though, and they are pretty dreadful. Its the second inaccurate delivery date estimate i've had this year.
