Alpines Spotted in the wild!
Discussion
I’ve owned my PE for two years and in that time I’ve seen three others. Abyss Blue one in the Cotswolds, flat grey one coming off a roundabout on the M25 Brentwood junction and an Alpine Blue Pure in the same Essex town as me - lives a mile away apparently. Very rare in the wild, which adds to the special feeling of owning one (reliability and build issues aside). Every time I’m out in mine, someone comments or I get thumbs up from other cars and people taking pics from passenger seats!
A lovely France Blue (possibly?) between Horsham and Lower Beeding earlier.
I gave a customary wave despite being in the Smart car!
Whatever the colour was though it looked fantastic, not sure it was the standard blue. It had me questioning my grey (to my OH's annoyance) for the rest of the journey.

I have seen one around Tonbridge in Kent several times. Looks great in the classic blue. Anyone on here?
Also did see a much darker blue one pulling out of a residential road in Tonbridge recently, so they are about.
And finally a Black Tulip one also in Tonbridge recently. (I owned a 1972 Mini 1000 as my first car and it was the same colour more or less)

Since December I've seen one on the road, an Abyss Blue by the A40 (M40) heading towards Harefield/Rickmansworth.
All in I've seen 3 in the wild. It's still surprising now, but I remember the first two I was ecstatic to see.
I was asked today by an interested couple in a woodland car park if I'd imported it, as they had never seen one before and had no idea what it was.
