Well, it’s been a strange couple of weeks
After being told my car was being built and likely to be delayed by logistics. It’s arrived the week after it’s confirmed build week. They must’ve stuck it on a boat by itself.
Picking it up tomorrow, wee boy in a sweetie shop springs to mind
No photos yet from you - what do you think of it?After being told my car was being built and likely to be delayed by logistics. It’s arrived the week after it’s confirmed build week. They must’ve stuck it on a boat by itself.

Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying their new motors. I certainly am .
Just one question, I did mention the drive assist problem I'm having where it keeps telling me to take over the steering. VW have had a look and told me it is fine and I need to hold the wheel more firmly. On the motorway I do tend to just have only one hand on the wheel, but my Leon had what I think is the same system and that was fine. How is this feature working for you chaps? I thought it picked up steering inputs, not grip on the wheel. Mine is that bad I need to turn it off.

Hi guys hope your well. Is there anyone that’s thinking off giving up there lease. I’m willing to take over kind regards
Possibly but I would need to check the T&C's with Arval. I don't actually think you can with them (im way more familiar with VWFS). I am not exactly sticking with the lease ethos here, but after 11 months I'm still not really a massive fan of the car tbhBlue Mk8 Golf R said:
I had mine fitted this week the replacement cover it is done via recall
Mine was already booked in for work concerning the annoying bing bongs and warning lights they have ordered a new sterring wheel for my Golf R
Is it a fairly default response that they order a new steering wheel or did you have to go round the houses with diagnostics etc? I have had a few errors and took photos but could imgine booking it in for them to say there is no errors right now on display so its fine etc. Mine was already booked in for work concerning the annoying bing bongs and warning lights they have ordered a new sterring wheel for my Golf R
