Hi,

Can anyone recommend a reputable website for ordering side decals for a GT3?

I ordered my Touring in a ‘basic b*tch’ spec… i.e - black, silver wheels, black callipers, black interior… as I like that it somewhat flies under the radar as my daily car.

The one downside of a black GT3 is that black tends to hide the deep contours and curves of the car. I saw a black GT3 parked up recently that had ‘Porsche’ side decals and I couldn’t believe how much it transformed the car in terms of showcasing its lines and curves. I want to look add adding the OEM ‘Porsche’ letters which were available on the configurator.

Appreciate any help - thank you

Rick at Highgate House

Their website is dated but the customer service and the product is absolutely excellent. You will not be disappointed.

Having had many Porsche decals from Highgate House (very expensive) and Design Stuff Online I would opt for the latter which are around 30% of the cost of the former but very similar quality and service.

Another vote for Highgate House. Superb quality and service. Sent mine to German Dealer on my 2015 RS, had decided to put them on from New. Amazing to think Porsche had the same idea three years later on the .2.

Correct Lava… such a strange paint, when I saw it at the dealership and on cloudy days looks orange, but when the sun was out looked a salmon pastel colour. I actually came to the decision that I didn’t like it in the end, Blood Orange or Gulf Orange are the better Oranges. This was my favourite photo of it, photo was set up to show the size difference of the RS..

Thank you all…

I emailed both companies last week with some basic ‘pre purchase’ questions… no reply from either.

I’ll try call them later… but frustrating customer service from both.

Rick's easier to initially contact via phone. Then he'll send you example work and / or proofs, and you order them online

Thank you.

I put an order through on DesignStuffOnline a number of days ago and I haven’t received any confirmation from them other than an email from PayPal confirming my payment to them.

Has anyone ordered anything from them recently… as their socials haven’t been updated in over a year, and they still have a ‘Covid Delay’ notice at the top of their website.

I don’t understand how either company has been so difficult to work with.

I've ordered from DesignStuffOnline a couple of times, though not for about two years. Comms both times post order were non existent, but the product came and it was essentially faultless. Absolutely the correct font and size etc, which can't be said of all suppliers.

Yep not the best for comms in complete contrast to the quality of their product.

Do you think you are his only client?? the chap probably receives 30 a day ! i always find it best to call and be polite. i get many emails from clients and they get ignored as getting someone on the phone is a hotter lead .

maybe, but the chap has paid - you'd think an acknowledgment wouldn't be too much to ask for.

Bought some side stripes for my 997 from them 6 weeks ago. Communication was non-existent but the stripes arrived within a week and they were top notch.

Sounds like you’re running a great business… ignoring emails from your customers… wow!

You also seemed to have failed to notice where I am as a customer in the process - i.e - I have paid £300 for a product, with zero acknowledgment (i.e - no automated email confirming the purchase). I literally had no idea if my order was received or not.

This is just simple basic ecommerce etiquette… which is automated by nearly every eCommerce website on the planet today. It is also mandatory in the EU (yes, I know the UK are not in the EU anymore).

To those of you who were of help… thank you.

I’ve used Highgate three times and found Rick very friendly and professional on the phone despite my order being only for stick on front number plate's,
