Early pre 1985 Series 2 with the touch controls. The S3 had physical switches.

Out of interest I found this pic - look so weird with analogue clocks. No ides of the background. Digital odometer means it's very recent or a photoshop

This particular car is admittedly a bit down at heel but I do remember seeing a Lagonda in the 80's, driven by the guy who owned Tandy and It was an incredibly awesome thing, so this one might be worth a bit of spit and polish.

That Lagonda is FAB, those and the HK500 are my dream cars!

However, I suspect even a looked after one would be a nightmare, that one, even more so!!

I'd hazard a guess that the anomalous instrument panel is a custom job - i.e. a piece of wood with attached proprietary gauges - fitted after failure of the proper digital dashboard. Those dials look like the generic ones that are fairly commonly available. Perhaps doing that was cheaper.

It does look nicer than this, which I think is the early digital dash, and probably not a flattering photo.



Same indicator and wiper stalks as late Viva HC.

That's very sad. Not everyone's cup of tea but it saw AML through a very lean time.

It's 50/50 I think, some Y plates were and some weren't, but it should be a 5 speed anyway.

Timeless classic design. They were great then and are still ultra desirable now.
