The fury and anger that fences cause between neighbours knows no bounds.

I would love to see a pic but i imagine that the neighbours just think the front garden is all theirs.
On the other hand, good fences make good neighbours.

He's made a fence from his neighbours tights? The sheer cheek.

A long time ago, I put a fence along the front of my house.

Just as I was tidying up, the chap opposite came out of his house and insisted (quite aggressively) that I took it down. His complaint was that the sun was reflecting off it and he was struggling to watch his TV confused

Confronting someone who just spend the last 6 hours on a hot day putting up a fence was possibly not the best timing. I suggested that he could close his curtains, watch TV at night or just FRO.

My neighbour on the other hand was quite happy.

Don't let him be a denier of your right to make a fence.

Not sure why neighbours tights thread winds up in homes and gardens.

Thanks for the advice and funny posts, genuinely lol’d at a few of them.

I’ve not replied as I’ve been away with work.

Anyway, the fence in question:

How are you going to cut your 1-foot strip of grass?

That may be his remonstration. He'll leave that grass to make it difficult for you to mow rather than claiming that bit of extra land.

I will admit I built it as I was fed up of them walking through our front garden,
Did it stop them from walking through your garden, or are they stepping over it?

Couple more horizontals i reckon and that'll be fine.
