Both are VF2 Calais wagons in silver with roof bars…

Unfortunately the one in the right is only a 3.6 V6…
I'm assuming its perspective, one looks lower and wider than the other

From 51st street to 110th is ours. Big Paulie gets 111th to downtown. As for the docks, that's ours too. You got something to say, fugedabouddit.

It is indeed perspective - the only visual difference between the two is that the one on the right has two single tailpipes, and the one on the left has two twin tailpipes

Damn you!

I was just about to post something about the rarity of narrow bodied V8s and how wide body V6s were only Police spec biggrin

Come on now, this wasn’t accidental, I can’t imagine France is awash with V12 Japanese limousines.

Must be, quite the inconvenience at toll booths.

It's weird - post-2012 there was a marked decrease in the number of Mk3 MR2s I saw about on the roads. Post-COVID it seems as though everyone has had an awakening to them - I went for a walk at the weekend, and passed no less than 5 separate Mk3 MR2s along a 5 mile route across town! Great to see them and glad that they're finally getting wider appreciation.

There's been quite a lot of positive press about them over the last year as well as the MR2 name getting mentioned a bit around rumours over future cars in the Toyota line-up so I think more people have become aware of them.

I picked mine up on a whim when my Saab died, I loved my MK2 Turbo and fancied a budget midlife crisis and my first ever soft top so after finding out the scene was as supportive as I enjoyed back in my MK2 days I gave it a go, mine isn't the best example but it's fun and it's nice to have a car related hobby again without having to spend much money.

it's rare I see them out and about but this one was parked in the car park I use for work and the space in front was free so it seemed rude not to park there, especially with it being another facelift and in the same colour. I was a bit jealous of the hardtop mind you.

There's an event near Warwick soon with about 700 MR2s signed up so they'll be pretty common, with lots parked up next to each other, at that smile

I'm signed up but some work I'd hoped to have done this week doesn't seem to be happening so it's a bit 50/50 currently.

Close enough, right?

In a sentence I don't think I've ever written before, mine's the cleaner one.
