I have no idea why, but the latest Colab from TAG has got me wanting one.

Don't usually lust after TAGs, but these have really got my juices going. Think it's the playful and colourful plastic Bezel. I've been looking at and for alternatives, including a 1980's TAG F1 with orange Bezel, but they've seem to have went up in price riding on the coat tails of the KITHs.

Anyone manage to think of any good alternatives for a top end of maybe £150? LUMINOX seem to have some great playful colours in their range, but still quite pricey. There is a Casio MRW's, but there doesn't seem quite enough pop in colour for the bezel, but they are super affordable.

Anyone able to think of anything else which can get a similar vibe? Extra bonus points for Orange.

If you've spent any time at all contemplating a plastic watch for £1,300 you've got to be bonkers.

Just Google "Plastic orange watch".

What do we think the cost of goods are on that, $50? Nice work if you can get it.

Some brands are really trolling the consumer at the moment.

Haha touché, but I was never really contemplating the TAG KITH, just liked the aesthetics of it. Hence looking at the old F1's from the late 80's which had colourful bezels. Also love the modest size of the vintage ones.

I kind of like the early tags and for a couple of hundred quid they are a bit of retro fun but at £1500 absolutely no way!

I have an original one of these which was £250. I offered it to my kids who are 12 & 10. They both turned it down. One has an apple watch and one doesn't wear watches.

I'll be your kid if you want? Was looking at these on the usual eBay etc. Can get them for about £350 for 35mm.

Sekonda xpose seem like cheap fun. Also on a vintage SWATCH rabbit whole as there's a few there which have similar vibes.

I've got one of the originals and it looks tiny on the wrist these days.

These have vaguely similar vibes:

That is why I stopped wearing mine. Far too small for me as an adult. It was a much appreciated gift from my cousin when I was a lot younger and watches were a lot smaller.
