We stayed at the Crystal cove in Holetown, it was an good 3/4 star AI, bit shabby around the edges but had a lovelly 2 weeks there. It was circa £1200 each inc flights this time last year, so nice and cheap too. Loads of really nice places on the west coast. Depending on your budget I would have a look at Sandy Lane, went for a meal there and looked really plush. If you can hold off a while, the prices drop early summer, but make sure you go before hurricane season. I found the best price with www.bestattravel.com much cheaper than anywhere else and actually a bit cheaper than booking myself.

if you're other half is crew, are you going on standby? ie, only a couple of days? or are you there for a week or so? Champers is nice, good cocktails, Bellini's is nice - Italian style food, Daphne's is nice but pricey, Mango's was ok if I remember rightly, I'll keep digging

Budget appx £1,000 each person and just seeking a nice place to relax that is secure.

Treasure Beach Hotel. Hibiscus Suite.
Stayed there last December and it was very pleasant.
Stick with St James on the West Coast, St Lawrence gap is a bit... not as good. East coast is rugged and quiet but no good for swimming!
Visit Concorde Museum, and go diving. Some of the plantation houses are lovely as well.
