Could this be the track where passing is very rare ~ except in the pits ~ allowing a Mercedes-Benz 1-2 to the line ?... if they again qualify 1-2 ? ...
Surely their rear tyres won't enjoy the stop-start nature of Monaco and the usual Monaco traffic? I wouldn't bet against Vettel, Alonso or Raikonnen for the win.
If he can get the car set up to his liking I think Button could do well at Monaco, the nature of the circuit is such that the current problems mclaren have should be less of an issue there than other circuits. Fairly certain a Merc will be on pole but until they get on top of the rear tyre issue I can't see them winning
Never put it past Kimi to throw in a sterling performance in the Renault with is the kindest to the tyres.
So far he's been on the podium in every race (except Malaysia)
Yes, Bunsen could do well as it appears that the McLaren is kind to it's tyres - too kind hence they don't get them to work properly. Maybe the softs/super-softs will do the job.

Yep looks a good bet, sorry I mean a real possibility.

Really not thrilled for this one for some reason.
My least favourite Circuit too. Still enjoy any F1 event though. Back in the 1960-70s, they used to have F1 "Internationals" IIRC at Brands as well as the Grand Prix. I really like the GP circuit at Brands. Wish they had updated that ~ much prefer it to Silverstone. The weather was invariably nicer at Brands too. Even on Boxing day and most other holiday time meetings.
So, for me, the perpetual question this season based on the past three race qualifying grid line ups. Will the two Mercedes-Benz cars again qualify well and underperform in the race? Make a refreshing change if they can stay in front. The same old, same old can be a tad boring occasionally. Are you listening Alonso and Vettel ? ..

Absolutely, well remember Brands Boxing day 1966, what a scorcher..

The only race of the year I don`t usually watch Live. A record then fast-forward afterwards is in order for this procession.
However, the tyres might actually make this one a little more interesting !. Or is that just wishful thinking
It`s incredible to watch them going through some of the corners and the camera positions can really capture the speed, but from watching cars racing each other, I just don`t like it.
