I wish I could, but after a couple of miles of slaloming and thrupenny bitting corners to get some low load, but high lean, it was all stuff I can't post (once my mate took over riding of course). I've deleted the footage other than a select couple of bits that are NSFW so to speak.

thats me on my friends CBR600 RR7. he was VERY cross when he was looking through the pete wileman photos and saw this one of me when i borrowed his bike for a session biggrin

Ran into the garage shouting "NO SHOWBOATING or no more shots for you" hehehe

AS for the blade, yeh, i fancy giving it a nice paintjob. Looking for suggestions. I either fancy a samsung honda bsb replica, a red bull style number, or a scottish flag livery

Haha - what did you think of the 600RR. Bit nimble?

As you have an all white base on a Honda - Randy de Puniet Playboy vinyl?

i do like that, but a friend of mine has the same paintwork on his Aprilia RSV4, so dont want to copy him.

I considered a yellow bike, with lion rampants on the side, and a saltire on the front, but i dont want across all "braveheart" or pro scottish independance biggrin

Had a look around Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness's bikes from the NW200, and also Kuba Smrz's BSB and superstock 1000 bikes today. Awesome pieces of kit cool

I think I went a bit overboard when buying some tyres today too hehe

It's always good to have a stock of tyres, but I'd get those 211's used up soon, they'll be at least 18 months old, we had the 212's available to us at the end of 2011 so I imagine they were available to Padgetts around the same time.

212s are mega on track, you're going to enjoy that R6!

What shall I do with this boys

Finish it will be a good start. Still havent found a fairing in a year. Too bad to repair. Finish off in satin and make do?

I begrudge to spend too much time on a fked fairing which will then mean I will need to get the othe side done aswell.

The "good" side

I don't understand... There's loads of these fairings kicking around.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR-600-F4-FX-Left...

(£75!)

ETA: Yes, I realise I googled the wrong side, but it is the same story for the other!

You can get them for under a £100 and then get it painted for about what, £50? Then whack some stickers on for another £50.

Seems a shame to do such a poor bodge on what looks a nice bike when it would only cost you £200 or so to do properly.

Stop washing it, after a year or two both sides will look the same.
