Just seen it. Loved it. OK, there are some mega super bad cheese moments, but meh. 8.5/10.

Nothing wrong with LS engines....

I did read something where they explain why they shove LS3's into all the cars that can have one. Just makes life easier for them. Everything becomes modular, if something breaks its not a chore to sort it out. Makes sense really even if it does rob the end viewer of some authenticity... but lets face it, authenticity isn' exactly FF's calling card and 99% of the audience won't give a crap.

the runway must have been 25 miles long.
And the rest of it! hehe
As said though other than a couple really daft moments, it was good old brain out fun smile

Went to see it Saturday night and all I can say is its just awesome! biggrin gun fights, cars, girls and explosions, what more could any bloke require from a film. Can't wait for 7, out next year apparently.

I hope they don't do overkill on this series. I love all the movies but am worried they will always try and outdo the previous one and make it completely unbelievable and end the series on a flop!

I have no idea what they are planning but they need to be thinking outside the box again....just not too ridiculous.

Well they kinda gave a bit hint as to what's next at the end of the movie. A certain Brit action star/Tokyo Drift scene.

Too late! rofl

But don't worry, it won't make the series a flop. As you can see from this thread, they could throw a grappling hook (with their super muscles) around the moon, hook a skyscraper gutter with their toes, and pull it out of the ground and it would be willingly accepted by the fans.

For me, the complete "we don't need to bother about realism, we can feed them any old st and they'll lap it up as long as its wrapped in fast cars, tits, ass and muscles" contempt for the viewer spoilt it.

It would seem, however, that they are right and I'm wrong on this one... biggrin

If the end scene is a spoiler then don't go and see Star Trek at the Dubai Mall as they showed that scene in the trailers...arse

I must admit I did get very excited at the trailer for FF6, and the guy next to me wasn't too impressed with Simon and me calling out the make/model of cars nerd

I can see the next one being the last one to be honest. Where it's at now one more should conclude everything quite nicely. Especially as the last couple have carried on from each other.

Another high five for me for this latest installment. I like how everyone has their role as well, The Rock was particularly badass and Tyrese was our comedy component and as mentioned, in the realm of F&F the storyline is actually believable. 9/10 for pure enjoyments sake, a Hollywood movie being what a Hollywood movie should be.

The problem with F&F movies is that as soon as the credits start rolling up, I think to myself, should I start modifying the car...again???

My highlight was driving past the cinema yesterday, A Muppet in a yaris with a massive exhaust wheel spinning and then skidding into a lamp post joining the slip road biggrin

I'm guessing/hoping that he'd just been to watch F&F

I saw it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it! Lots of crazy stunts, unrealistic action scenes, but still utterly brilliant.

Looking forward to the next one! smile

20-30% was brilliant 70-80% was the usual rubbish that can be forgiven hehe

I noticed the chemistry between the actors in particular Luda and Tyrese they had some good banter with the rock too, it seems natural and I expect they have a good genuine laugh together when off camera.

A few scences were the usual F&F over the top nonsense but this has to be expected, saying that I think one or two went too far (even for F&F)

Just watched it, loved every minute of it, Rock is a great actor, great cars as well. Tyrese Gibson had me laughing too. To those who haven't watched it yet, make sure you watch the end credits, not going to spoil it and tell you what happens smile

Didn't know this guy was in the film though; hehe
