The Cheddar gorge drive and eat meet. Sunday 9th June.
Discussion
I'm just down the road, ill head along. However please bear in mind that if the weather is nice the gorge will be ram packed on a Sunday afternoon. The roads will also be littered with cyclists, so it will have to be more of a meet, chat and drive to the pub instead of a all out hoon.
When we go for a hoon you really need to be there at 8am or 8pm to avoid traffic and Lycra.
Also whilst the queen vic is a nice little pub it will be very busy so make sure you book (its a very local pub). A good alternative is the castle of comfort, it's about 5miles from the gorge and can easily cater a group of us. (They have bike nights etc).

As for choice of pub. We usually do the Castle of Comfort so I thought I'd add a bit of variation into the mix! I'll take your advice of booking a table once I know how many we have coming

So peeps. Do we turn this into an evening drive, or stick with the lunch time drive?

I think he may have already been there. Took a drive through the gorge earlier and part of one of the car parks is fenced off due to a rock fall.
You do know that as you've now posted in the thread you have to come along don't you :PGassing Station | South West | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
