Try the shims Aide recommended, very tight on new pads but if yours are slightly worn they should fit no trouble.Only £4.99 ..... Not sure I'd like to use silicon

If the disks were skimmed in the first place then that was done because they were already warped. The stresses are still there in the disk despite the skimming. Skimmed disks will continue to warp regardless of what you do to them - skimming them doesn't cure anything it just hides the symptoms.
I really don't think that you can blame pads that many thousands of people have used on a range of cars without any issue for wrecking already knackered disks. The noise is one thing but they are otherwise excellent pads and have the best cold performance of any pad that I have been able to try on the Cerbera.

No of course I don't, do you work for EBC? Mine have been squealing since I had new pads fitted 4 months ago. Hoped they would sort themselves out, but doesn't seem to be happening. Previous pads were fine, but I know not what they were...
I'd be interested to know how these shims work. They fit to the back of the pads? But surely the noise must be generated between pad and disc? How does that work then??

Has anyone had any experience with Ferodo pads? They were put in during a service last year on the recommendation of the mechanic (who is a well respected TVR indy). Since then I've had squeal, and not matter what I try (shims, springs, copper slip and all the possible combinations there of) I can't get them to stop.

I ve just done mine with a flap type wheel in a drill, it was actually a paint stripping wheel, held at an angle so to turn the disk slowly as the drill sanded the surface of the disk. This leaves a uniform dullness/hatching to the surface of the disk, which will help to bed the disks in too. i use an old granite chopping board, and something like 40/80 grit paper and just give them a good rub just to rough them up.
I fitted new RC6 pads in the back of mine and dogs were running for cover on the way to a Mallory track day, on the way home not a peep from them, although they are full race compound so allowed to squeal.
Squeal is vibration, and our rear calipers allow a lot of movement for the pad so are more prone than most.

Ollie, please keep an eye on your pads, my red stuff pads got less than half way worn before they started to brake up, ended up with lumps of friction material dropping out when I removed the pad for a clean up once.You do seem to get what you pay for with brake pads, I use Pagids, many others use CL not heard a negative comment about either apart from the odd comment about squeeling but that can be sorted. My pagids do not squeel and stop so much quicker than the red stuff pads, you would think it was a different car.
Right then, I've removed my Ferodo rear pads, cleaned the calliper pistons with brake cleaner, deglazed my discs, installed new EBC Redstuff pads (which come with anti-squeal shims fitted) and taken it out for a test drive.
Initially it all seemed fine. Good firm bake pedal feel, solid stopping performance and no squeal. Then, after about 5 minutes on the road it came back! It's a slightly different pitch of squeal now but just as noticeable. What the hell do I do next?
I did notice some slop/free play in a rotational motion between the hub and the disc (i.e. the holes are a few mm bigger than the studs so the disc can rotate back and forth by a degree or so - could this be an issue?)
I'm getting to the point of being really fed up now.
Advice anyone?
