I think production has really picked up recently - my GT that was ordered around 20th March for a Dec-Jan delivery has now been built and the dealer reckons it could potentially be in the country as early as the end of August.Dealer contacted me 12th May with August date which I thought was the build date but it turn out to be delivery to showroom thinking of them keeping it in storage so that I have the new plate 1st sept if it was at the new price I would have cancelled but the car is old invoice price £3300 lower than current RRP.still upset on having a base car in purple.

know this doesn't help much with your disappointment but is there any chance you can buy the Recaro's at a later date,know they will be more expensive that way but perhaps someone may buy the standard seats from you
to undate their Mustang to help out with the extra cost, just a thought

I think all S550 production is drawing to a close by end of September.The new S650 is being unveiled in Detroit on 14th September - that will be 2024MY, will likely go into build around March 2023, first UK deliveries early 2024.

Yep already asked for stick on front plates and to put the shipping labels in boot.Never got a straight answer on why the Recaro seat option was deleted they said it was never a UK option? .Surely more likely to be availability issues and the dealer just trying to cover?

I can't see why they wouldn't be an option on the more track-focussed Mach 1 when they were definitely available on the GT. In fact i sat in a 2022 Mach 1 in the showroom barely 8 weeks ago that had definitely recaros in them!

Well the jet grey has recaro seats as a part of the appearance pack which is a £1400 option but the deleted option for these seats in any other colour is £2000?Surely more likely to be availability issues and the dealer just trying to cover?
