When l bought my Mustang in 2022, my insurance cost £296.05. A very reasonable sum l thought, especially given that l had no no-claims as it was an additional car.

Fast forward to 2023 and the cost had risen to £309.67. Again, not unreasonable as l understand that insurance costs have increased significantly.

The policy is up for renewal again at the end of the month and, again, I've seen some horror stories of massive increases so l was expecting a hefty premium this time.

Do you think my reaction of bouncebouncebounce was justified when it came in at ........ £312.55!

Still ,sounds pretty cheap in relative terms though - can I ask who is that with ?
I guess it's one of the few benefits of being 65!
It's with Aviva. Mileage restructed to 6,000, £250 compulsory and £150 voluntary excess. If l drop the voluntary, price goes up by about £50.
Pretty happy with it to be honest.
