Yep, this is the one that was sold through Anglia Car auctions in November, estimate was £4500 to £6000 but it sold for £3097Upmarket body and roof also....

Having just bought this on ebay i am going up to pick it up on Saturday. Obviously i will check it over with a fine tooth comb but if its what the guy says it is then i think i have a bargain. If everything turns out ok my very nice 350i will be up for sale very soon. Since this one is hotwire and my 350i is a flapper is there anything in particular that you guys think i should look out for.

Great price could be a bargin!
But the one thing which concerns me is the lack of any logos etc, so it may have had some paint work, so look for that and if there is any reason for it!
Otherwise enjoy it mate, you must have sold a few steering wheels to pay for it!
I presume the 350i will have my old mk1 bonnet on it!

I don't know what's wrong with it and I'm not even going to ask, but judging by the low price and the vague description coming from a car dealer, it's not rocket science that in all probability, all is not well. However, it had to be checked out and unfortunately in this instance it happened to be you. Time and money wasted but a lesson learned. There is nothing that can't be put right but it all depends at what cost.Tony. TCB.
