Im being picky lol but Oliver Jones hasnt got a DR on his name
Apart from that top job mate!
Much appreciated.
No be picky please - I'm trying to work out a good way of sending out a confirmation email using an extract from the xls database so that at the very latest 6 weeks before the event I can get people to check their details and make sure nothing has changed - it's a long time since I've used mail merge in that way..... The worst nightmare in the world would be if someone could get into the event because I've made a typo on the forms - I'd be devestated but I think they'd be extremely piddled off too!!!Apart from that top job mate!
Much appreciated.
Thanks Paul
On the subject of take up for spaces on the event it seems a bit slow
Looking back at previous events I don't think Saturday has ever reached fully subscribed and tends to be dominated by those doing both days but Sunday very rarely has any spaces left and we only just reached 33% of the capacity for Sunday so far.
So I guess this is a question for those who haven't applied yet - recession biting, leaving it till closer to the event or other reasons?

Have you posted the link to this topic in the surrounding areas boards?
Or in the track day specific area?
Good suggestions - I never venture there so I wouldn't know if the event has been previously cross posted elsewhere on PHOr in the track day specific area?
Job for this evening I think

I would get in early to avoid disappointment.
Agreed as I really am not looking forward to a last min deluge of applications as it would make me a whole heap of work that I'd need to do in a limited timekybo said:
Sorry if I've missed a relevant post (I did flick through all pages) but is it OK for a wannabe 'tog to turn up?
Would there be any charge for turning up and taking pics? Or any restrictions - would there be infield and outfield access to every straight and corner?
Thanks,
Scott
Sorry Scott - No spectators - photographer or otherwiseWould there be any charge for turning up and taking pics? Or any restrictions - would there be infield and outfield access to every straight and corner?
Thanks,
Scott
The event is not covered insurance wise for a spectator event
For those attending who take photgraphs when not on track the Pit area viewing gallery is the only area open for photographs
The Marham official photographers are stationed around the circuit at or close to marshalling points - plus the safety cars normally have the odd snapper on board

New format this year for getting in. It's dead easy. We print off the list we get from your moderator and if you ain't on it then we can't let you in. Passenger or Driver.
No pressure here then MG Mark

No pressure here then - if you aren't on it I haven't got your details and you aren't going
- if it has no DR against your name I have a provisional booking but details are missing and if it stays like that by 12th Sept I'll remove the name from the list
I also plan to mail merge the xls spreadsheet with a word document and then copy and paste a summary of each driver (car, towcar and passenger(s) included where applicable) and send it out by email before the 12th sept deadline. Thats the plan if there is a last min rush it might get canned!!
I'll do what I can to mae sure there are no problems with the groups I am looking after but if people don't provide all the details required despite repeated requests then I have a clear conscience

Unfortunately, there will always be a very small minority who will try and trick there way in at the last minute!
I used to get a few emails way after the deadline saying something like "my mate so-and-so sent you my details ages ago but, I have'nt heard anything back!"
This can take ages to sort, as it means double checking all emails and lists just to satisfy my own conscience.
I'll bet........ *goes into email account - transfers all Marham related emails to one folder* I used to get a few emails way after the deadline saying something like "my mate so-and-so sent you my details ages ago but, I have'nt heard anything back!"

btw, you are doing a great Ian
I think I've got a system sorted now and it seems to be working OKThis is now the only forum that isn't done and dusted - Retro Rides is all sorted and done with cheques arriving every day and the ABS is pretty much wrapped up too cheques also coming in every day so I can just worry about keeping up to date with this one
