Hi guys!
Was one of the cars attending Marham over the weekend a white Porsche 911 GT3 RS with a "GT3 RS"-like number plate?
A friend noticed one today on the A11, with a PH sticker, on the back of a trailer

Another superb day, thanks to all the RAF guys for making it happen. For once my car lasted the weekend which meant that at last I got through some of the backlog of passenger rides that I had previously promised people. 2 miles from home the right front wheel bearing finally cried "enough, I give in" and collapsed which meant for an interesting limp home. Fortunately I have a spare on the shelf so it should be back on the road in no time at all.
Just got in from the hospital after rolling the pug. we're both ok, i'm completely uninjured apart from a small cut on my finger and a bruise on the elbow. My passenger is happy as he's got a day off work tomorrow. he got the brunt of it with a whack on the head, so has a stiff neck.
many thanks to all who helped us after the incident. sorry about the mess i left, i'll try not to do it again.
i'll post more details when i'm not so tired and show some before and after pics of the car.

Again a big thank yuo to all involved with organising the event .
Saturday - Gave the 2 ladies from the RAF benevolent fund a few laps in the passenger seat which I beleived they enjoyed . - Track was half empty and other than rubbish tyres in the morning, had a superb day.
Sunday - was so looking forward to the start - then the foggy delay, then about 20 mins into my first session the windscreen imploded just as I was about to go past the slick shod evo 6 at the end of the straight (140mph???) - quickly get back to pits - then spent next 4 hours at A&E Kings Lynn for the glass dust to be washed out of my passengers eyes! (Full face helmet but visor up).
Many thanks to the paramedics for their assistance for my passenger
Hannah - any news on the car front? - you missed a mean looking VX220 Turbo on Sunday
Another brilliantly organised weekend, roll on April 09!!! This time I'll make sure I take out the RAF guys that I was going to do on Sunday

It was an interesting day for me, and the shortest distance i covered in the four times that I have been to Marham! But, once the mist had cleared it was a fantastic day and the track seemed in fantastic shape, well done guys.
At the end of the first session I had a low rear tyre, pumped it up and then noticed my top engine cover latch had sheared the two ally fixing rivits - that was easily fixed but by the time I had sorted that I was left with this:
The tyre had been cut in several place with a quite large slice with air coming out! So that was the end of my day, but that tyre weld stuff is amazing and got the 40 miles home without probs. Better luck next time I guess.
Thanks go to the organisers

Great Day guys.
I was there on Sunday with quite a few other Skylines as well.
Big thanks to Ian for the organising the attendees.
I was in the White R33 skyline, not the one with the graphics but the one with black alloys, I am sorry if i held anyone up through the corners. My suspension is definately not really suited to hard corners. On the entries it felt all loose and wavvy and on the exits I couldnt get the power down until I was basically in a straight line. I had a few tail out moments in 3rd gear on the exits lol.
Anyone remember being stuck behind me in the corners?
I also couldnt do more than 120mph odd due to a vibration, apart from one lap when I let it go a bit and hit 160mph 2/3rd down the runway.

Brilliant weekend - thanks to the organisers!
Our 106 Rallye covered 450 miles on track over the weekend without any hiccups - which was quite impressive! Also the Xsara we ran did the whole weekend without a fault.
Highlight for me had to be the lift off oversteer going into the first bend
Seemed to be run very efficiently and plenty of track time!
Roll on the next one!

Excellent day for me on sunday, really enjoyed it. It was my first time on track so apologies if I got in anyones way! I was in the blue Clio 182.
Shame about the Pug at the end as it seemed to be about the only incident throughout the day, glad both are OK though.
Looking forward to the next one already!

Glad you liked the exhaust, couldn't really hear it in the car. If anybodys got any vids of it i would appreciate the link.

We were very down on help this weekend so a massive thank you to those who stayed till the bitter end.Cheers
George
Well I've retired the white Senator from it's drifting days so if you want any civillian help next time, I'm happy to oblige. I don't do cooking though !!!George
LOL!! Dam,,,, We were gonna stick you in the kitchen.
We had a bit of an issue this morning with litter in the pits. There were fag butts everywhere!! We got most of it cleared up before 8am but I think we're gonna have 'Pit Police' at the next event and anyone caught will be removed without warning.
Track wise,,, I was very pleased with what I saw. You always get the odd few but most stuck to the few rules we have and made the day that much more enjoyable for the rest of us.
The 'Flux Babes' do want to come back in April as do the BF Ladies. A massive thanks to the air ambulance for popping in and a massive thanks to all the people that helped over the weekend. I promise next time we'll get more help
The next charity track weekend is planned for next April and I hope to see you all there.
Cheers
George.
