Are mobile tyre fitters as good as a workshop based one?
Discussion
I've never used a mobile tyre fitter, but in the near future I will need some tyres doing and I reckon this will be a more convenient option.
Taking the skill and work ethic of the technician out of the equation, is the equipment in a mobile rig going to be able to do as good a job as the equipment in a workshop based tyre fitter? I genuinely don't know if the portable equipment in a van will be able to balance a wheel as well as something anchored to a concrete slab, for instance.
