More Cobra:

The unfortunate but amazing sounding (2:54) Shead / Hardman Cobra: "Make that black with some neat red pinstriping."
As you will see later I was unable to make a decent shot of this reflecting piece of kit.
One of my favs from the event for sure - love the bare alloy, and the Noise! Whoaa.

one question: are the plastic -aerodynamic - headlight covers period?
Hi, the headlamp covers are period, they are part of the 'Sebring kit' fitted to make the cars more aerodynamic. I don't think the spotlights set into the valance on the MGB in the picture above are period, which is why ours are Cibies on brackets as the regs specify period lighting only. This car is a proper FIA car and always has been. As Jellison said, this topic has been discussed at length on ten tenths and I am no expert, we just like to do things correctly.

I'm not into lenghty discussions, especially on 10/10s wink Thanx for your info, love the way your car looks. MGBs have a fair chance of ending top 25 which is wonderfull.

Dunno, forgot!

Long lever means big power? I've driven a 3-speed Cheyenne a year or so ago. That lever as 70 cms long!!!

Makes you think: Cerb stick is what you need right. Flex da wrist.

Seem nuts the through between forward slot gears and back gears must be about 60-70cm too - Madness.

I have a Hurst shifter kit for mine (same box (well it might be a T10 or a Toploader on a Cobra) as mine most likely).

I'm sure there is nothing in the papers that dictates how long the gear lever is! My Hust is long at over 30cm but compared to that thing!

If the power is proportionate the length of your lever, I might have to get mine lengthened! Fnaaa Fnaaa!

I'd say more like 45cm (1.5feet) from where it entere the transmission tunnel the through moust be enormous (i.e. slow).

Checking da last bits on HEM6 just a few minutes before the 6 Hours race.

A few hours later: winning Ford GT at speed.

Gregor Fisken: "Great shot of Wolfgang at the start of the race. He kept it near the top ten and a great run to a possible podium was lost with twelve laps lost stopped in the pits with a brake issue. Marvellous beast to drive, especially at night!"

Meins Ford GT would finish 5th. Lovely car in 'arrest me red'.

One of the Morgans, 3:12 best lap for this V8. About to be overtaken by the Clark E.

Lovely Brit (3:23) MGB overtaken by the mega quick (best lap of the field with 2:47) Gotcha Ford.

Best Pork was Dutch. Passing a GTA Alfa here.

David Grace: "Albert, Fantastic shot, early evening in the 6 hour at La Source, the back end is sliding out nicely and the front tyre is just clipping the rumble strip, brilliant."

Cobra porn.

Cont Grand Sport rushing through the field. Wonder what'll happen next year . . .

Roger running wide to overtake this slower Shelby Stang.
