Who's had their throttle bodies modded with bearings?

Sorry, not so IT cute so can't quote or post pics... anyway the butterfly will be pulled open by vacuum, the air forcing under the leading edge and passing over the trailing edge will rotate it and if the pretension in the spring is not enough it will compress and allow what we don't want.
What I did notice is that the spindle bore is not central across the throttle bore, it is offset. Anyway the big benefit, and main aim, was to reduce T-pot noise which with a hard plain bearing would be difficult, the Igus products are close but just didn't do it for me. Air leakage is not an issue if small and constant although you want to eliminate really.
I have spent many hours wondering how to make these "better", spindle through 3 bodies mounted onto a profiled plate and bolted as a set onto the head, in pairs, different linkage all together.... anyway winter is here and I hate telly

Bearings are designed to do revolutions. if a bearing sits in one position it causes wear ( surface contact ) that is end of, you can put all the best theories forward but its a fact, I will go down the bush route . there have been lots of discussions on this and the answer is very technical but bushes are the solution

I take ownership of my 'new' Tuscan in around a week, and would appreciate any updated knowledge (layman's terms please) on the current best VFM fix.
I'm not suggesting that my car will need immediate rectification, but i'm happy to spend on - quality - required/preventative maintenance.
So, the roller bearing solution offered by one of the specialists will cost me how much?
Is the view that the Powers bushing 'fix' is the prefered route to take, given that we now have 13y of knowledge since this thread started? I guess this sulution would be a similar cost to its bearing alternative?
