XC70 Insurance
Discussion
Hi good people.
We have just changed our V70, which died, for an XC70 for my wife's dog walking business.
Came to insurance time and the XC is twice the price of the V.
Anyone have a clue why when they are basically the same car, the XC in newer by 4 years but is still old as it is literally a car to fill with dogs?
Anyone else found this or is there a "go to" insurer I should be talking to?

I've not fond our 2013 XC70 to be unusual for insurance. Direct Line last year, then AA this year. £400 or so, for me and her, both around 40, relatively safe postcode, 8,000 miles.
Yours isn't something strange like a Japanese import T6 that's a pain to repair?
Nothing strange about the car. Very safe post code £211 for renewal on V70, £400 for the XC70, both from Churchill it seems strange.as I have checked a comparison website and they agree with the higher figure.Yours isn't something strange like a Japanese import T6 that's a pain to repair?
Will try a couple of others like Directline and Adrian Flux.
