Namely The Early Riser Festival, a weekend of camping, sportiving, music festivaling and lots of other stuff in the New Forest for £80 for the whole family! smile

I'm not too sure about the notion of "the infamous 25% wall known as Blissford Hill" on the Sportive route, but otherwise it looks fun!

Needless to say, I have just guaranteed that it is going to absolutely piss it down across the South of England for the whole of the first weekend in August! hehe

Blissford Hill is very very short.
Unless you're on a fixie, I would worry about it smile
Agreed. I do recall the first time I went up it feeling like I was going to tip over backwards

That doesn't sound perfect for my centre of gravity, but short is good! hehe

You could always hitch a lift with Dizraeli and the small goods on Friday and do both! smile

Hmmmm....

...what? and miss The 1975, Mallory Knox, The Twang, The Enemy, We are the Ocean et al? Nah, I'll stick with what I've booked and ride some other time wink

Probably going to look up Dizraeli & the Small Gods on the Friday now, though.

Shame. But you can still see Dizraeli & the Small Gods at the 'Y Not' festival - and you'll be free that weekend, too wink
