Who supplied the roll bar? I’m Looking at options for my MK3 currently but many are soft top only
BBR in Northamptonshire did all the work, including sourcing and fitting the roll bar.

Looks great.
How are the seats, any lower than standard?

The Recaro Pole Positions are superb - comfortable but, combined with the harnesses, hold you tightly. The mountings mean you can lower the seats and I now sit much lower than the standard seats. Perfect.

I can’t wait for Destination Nurburgring (DN) next Thursday and Friday. Crossing every finger for dry weather at the greatest but most challenging circuit on earth. The MX5 has just been given the once over and I’ve had a fresh set of Yokohama A052 tyres fitted. Almost ready to rock ‘n roll.

It was nice seeing this in action on Friday at Snetterton, the difference in pace to my MX-5 NC with mostly standard engine was eye opening smile

Thanks, it’s a great track isn’t it. Good do see so many NCs on the day but sad to see one crash badly towards the end of play. I hope the driver was okay.

Yup, that’ll be mine. Not me driving at the time, the driver involved was fine though

I’m so sorry about your car; utterly gutted for you. Glad to hear the driver is okay. Hopefully we will see you in this repaired or in another NC at a track day soon.

Really interested in maybe converting one of these myself as even though I bought an Elise back in March I feel they are much more useable proposition.
The NC seems to be a bit unloved but I think they look fantastic with the right stance.
I was considering doing an NA but the look of your car has me thinking now!

A NC MK2 is an excellent platform for track-day modification. It makes the perfect “affordable” track car and it’s surprisingly practical too. There is so much choice on the BBR website - you can tune NA, turbo or supercharge. The choice is yours!

Do you mind me asking what you paid for the car?
I see they have one in stock for just under £!5k which is a lot but by the time you have bought a nice one and added all the S/C bits your probably in the ballpark.

Mine is their Stage 1 supercharged press car. Fully loaded. 34k miles. £19k.
