Good friend of mine completely rebuilt that Charger just over 10 years ago. Had a full restoration including a complete coilover conversion, absolutely brilliant to drive. Was imported some time in the early 80s, originally a yellow 383. Tom carried out the restoration and finished it in Audi Misano Red with a 440, I had heard the next owner had painted it black. Here it is parked next to his brothers 1963 F100 which Tom also built;

His replacement for the Charger was a '31 Model A, still a work in progress
Hill brothers?

Yes, Ben and Tom. I've known them for years and years, great friends with them both.

I spent most of my school years with them. Haven't seen Ben since school finished and I last saw Tom around 12 years ago.

Their cars are stunning.

Elise in the barriers on the A1 at Welwyn this morning - guessing it must have aquaplaned in the torrential rain. Damage didn't look too severe. Hope those involved are ok.

Northbound through Barrington this morning, spotted a BMW Z1 and some classic stuff on the green (including an old Granada or Consul, which took me back). On the way out of the village, I also passed a tasty metallic greeny-blue Griffith heading the other way. Oh, and a 930-ish era 911 Turbo (I think… proper whale-tail) on the A14 near Bar ‘ill a bit later on.

67 plate Fiat Abarth 124 Spider behind me in Hertford this morning. Really stood out amongst the usual commuter vehicles.

Lovely 718 Boxster Spyder in Burnham Green over the weekend, think it was in Speed Yellow. Looked fantastic.

Luke,

Have you seen the Aston-Martin DBX around? It's frequently seen in the Baldock Tesco car park.

No, not seen that one so far. Did see a last gen Vantage a few weeks ago, and a current gen vantage last week. Both in Letchworth

I have seen a black one parked down Eastcheap, Letchworth on a couple of occasions. I thought you were referring to that one. smile

Is that the same person that used to own the (I think) Bentley Bentayga?

Saw my first Emira in the flesh today - yellow one, A1 near Hatfield. Looked stunning.
