It's just painful to watch...People are so gullible!
There will be some furious deleting going on for sure now!

Correct. Hopefully a replica.
Replica sword so we don't need a 45kg killing machine, a poodle would have sorted him out.

I know you shouldn't judge people on appearances, but he doesn't look like the type to have 2 million USD handy to spend on an original Yamaubagiri Kunihiro.

How about any dog that can't be booted to next Tuesday if it attacks someone should be muzzled in public. Easier to administer than a license as it's more visible. If the dog is over 30% of its owners weight it has to be muzzled in public. No muzzle off to the pound. Give people jobs too, won't it.
I have a 40kg dog. I’m fat and weigh 110kg. So if I put 10kg on I could walk him without a muzzle?

But if my wife walks the same dog it needs a muzzle?

Say if we got a tiny breed dog and it was well trained. If my daughter walked it should it have a muzzle on?

My dog is half German shepherd. Should police officers be made to follow the same weight requirements? Basically forcing dog handlers to be morbidly obese?

Sounds like the monumentally stupid idea to me.
If it's a wind-up, it's been very well planned.

I have a Kurihara Nobuhide I'd let you have for a bit less?

Not from me, if that helps, given posters previous.

Edit to say, what I will say sorry for is reacting to Milkround’s comment without also expressing a hope that the victims are ok, which sadly seems not to be the case.

How awful that a child has been killed; regardless of the reality of milkround's post, trying to wind-up/troll on such a tragic event is in bad taste.

Yes that’s my half German shepherd half rottie pet. My only dog. Here is a photo of the handsome chap by my legs:

He would be about as good at security work as I would at being a formula 1 driver.

Here is another photo of him with my daughter being incredibly dangerous:

Ps I still think muzzling all dogs by weight is Karen style nonesense. And I’m shocked at how hysterical folk on here get about dogs. It’s like mumsnet for men. I also think a properly trained security dog is less risk to the public than an averagely trained pet. I just don’t have the need or the time and energy to maintain one.

Seems a weird thread to want to derail.

RIP to the 13 yr old. I can't imagine anything worse for their family and friends to go through.

The news wasn’t out about the child when milkround lowered his baited hook.
