Have got a couple of tickets for the Marbella house, if I won it, would probably stick it straight on sale for market value under the expectation it'll take a while to sell, if it sold quickly; good, if not; have a holiday home you can go to every few months until it sells, and your family/friends could use as well to keep it occupied.
Also just seen the last Lake District house is up on a holiday rental site starting at £5k a week:

Is that really worth £3m? It'd be £300k in my neck of the woods. Are London house prices really so mental? Where are all the jobs that pay so much that so many houses can be so expensive? I don't get it! Anyway, I've entered and if I win I'll flog it and stay in Yorkshire, buy something comparable and stick £2.7m in the bank!
New one in Cornwall:

we said the same£3 million for a semi??
I stayed in Bodinnik a few years ago on my Minimoon (covid times) - so just up the hill from that house.
It is stunning and we commented at the time how nice it was.
You can find the old schedule online - the previous owner did a serious amount of work to it to transform it to its current look.
And fowey was a great little spot.

The new Cornwall house looks amazing, but looking at the aerial view on Google Maps the parking is very compromised. Nose-to-tail parking and no garage to protect a classic from the rigours of the sea air.
Oh, the humanity…. Think I could live with that. It’s a hell of a house otherwise. The streetview shots show a Range Rover centrally parked where the gate is, I’m reasonably sure you could get two cars side by side there and be able to back them out (or in) without too much trouble. Probably space for another three cars, albeit nose to tail. As for a classic, your new found wealth will go a long way towards a nearby dehumidified storage location.

Classics and Cornish sea air don't really mix at the best of times....markbigears said:
Looks like there’s a car turntable
I wonder if you parked one car on it fully, and then forgot and parked your second car part on it and then turned it on by accident? I wonder how much of a crunch you'd get?I wonder what % of winners actually live long term in them? As much as they may be nice houses, I wouldn't want to move to that house in London, and my wife has actually entered. Even that Cornwall one is lovely, the running costs would be swallowed in the 100k as we'd have to change jobs to move down there. Maybe that's the point of the 100k?
