Hi. Any electricians that could advice me please?

I have a ceiling light that used to accept small 12v capsule bulbs.
I now fit LED Capsule bulbs in the light but the transformer has failed.
The light is running 12 capsule LEDs

The old original transformer says:
Input 220-240v -50Hz 0.50A :0.97
Output: 11.5VAC Max 120w
Lamp: 35-120W
Tc:max +85Cta:45C Max

Any body know the correct transformer to purchase to run this light with LED Bulbs
(A non electrician says Aurora YT150 – 150VA transformer is correct)

Many thanks

I have two of these lights in the room. I have been putting led bulbs in for three or four years At present they are 160LM, 12v, 2W (twelve per light fitting)

Assume a G4 type fitting? Ok that's good news. Then why not just replace it with the same model?

Thanks - may end up doing that - but that original transformer is designed for halogen bulbs (Says halogen bulbs only on it)

Megaphone/Hidetheelephants – Thank you.
(The shape doesn’t matter as the replacement can easily be concealed in the ceiling void)

Yes – I thought that 12 bulbs at 2W would make the 35W more than enough.

(The only reason for my O/posting is that I took this transformer to CEF and told them the transformer was now driving 12 x 2w led bulbs and despite me questioning it he insisted it needs a YT150 which is 150W!! – He even printed me off a cash sales quote. )
