Ive never found it too bad. Wasnt expecting club class for the price and it got me there on time smile
That's because they schedule 3hours to do a 1hr 30minute flight! Then, when they leave late (every time) they can still say they got you there early. It's good because it means you're under no illusions as to what time you'll get there, but equally it's a little frustrating as you can see what they're doing.
Hmm, my flights to and from Rome last week both left a few mins before the scheduled time and arrived early too. But either way it was nice a cheap and did the job.
blimey - I'm truly surprised. I fly an awful lot on easyjet and BA and can't recall the last time we left the gate on time.

Fly Globespan also fly to Malaga, depends on where you're flying from though.

Personally, I'd avoid both of those like the plague.

By the time you add on the £5 here and £10 there for bags, reserved seat, taxes etc. etc. you're not much better of than booking a scheduled flight.
Certainly that is often true. Over the past couple of years I have flown with others to Geneva 3 or 4 times on skiing trips. As BA don't charge for either the skis or bags, and Easy charge each way for everything, BA has always worked out cheapest.
I'm always surprised by the threads commenting on that. Surely it's well known that the budget airlines make up the difference on discretionary charges? They are good value if you're travelling alone and don't need any of the extras. If you're travelling in a group, particularly a family, with lots of extras required, then the other carriers may be better.

When does an airline actually become low cost?
They don't, they just become very low/non-existent service and no cheaper most of the time than any other traditional airline.

BA fly to Malaga from both Heathrow & Gatwick, £60 each way INCLUDING all taxes.

Backs up what I've always said yes

I fly BA Cityflier a lot, and the prices are often better than the 'LoCo' crowd, and it's a full sevice airline. None of this £5 for a sandwich rubbish.

Better option every time for me.

It was quite bizarre actually as we had a really really smooth time back at stansted. We arrived at stansted, walked to passport control (almost no queue!!) went to the baggage reclaim and our bags were actually waiting for us!! I was so shocked!

But then it was very strange as a BAA lady came to ask us how was our airport experience today, and it was obviously fantastic! I have never got off a plane and been out of the airport so quickly!

That will be it - it was marking day hehe

In 5 years of flying twice, sometimes more, a month, that's probably happened to me 3 times?! Maybe 4 max!

Every time I arrive early, the gate isn't ready and we wind up sat on the taxiway for 30 mins.
