You said 'Dark' urine. Just get a pee test at the docs, if you've had it 6 yrs a little while longer ain't gonna matter. Staying hydrated currently shouldn't be a problem, it's hardly the middle of summer out there.
Here's the NHS guide to 'pee' colours. Oddly, on staying hydrated, they say 6-8 'mugs' a day. I suppose that depends on the size of your 'mug' (cup, not face!).

Well, the Dr thinks my urine looks ok.

In other news, my blood pressure is 166/100 and I've been referred for an MRI (suspected pulsatile tinnitus) and blood tests.

The MRI appointment came through on the same day, I was expecting a 6 week wait at least....
