The Official Huddersfield Town Thread

I think it is about time we had one of these, even if I might be the only one posting in it
We're on the verge of the top flight for the first time in 45 years. Just the tricky hurdle of Reading to overcome, it couldn't be more of a 50-50 game. Both sides winning 1-0 at home in the league fixtures and very evenly matched all over the pitch.
To be in the play off final with our budget is one of the best achievements in modern football. Not quite up there with Leicester winning the Premier League but it isn't too far behind.
It's a Heffing Dream

Good to hear some positive stories. You'll struggle to find a more family orientated, friendly club than Huddersfield Town. We've got an awful lot to thank Dean Hoyle
All we want is one season in the Premier League. It will set us up for years and mean we can be properly self sufficient for the first time in years

I've heard a lot about Dean Hoyle - the driving force behind the commercial side is Sean Jarvis who is so incredibly switched on; he could make a million by going round other sleepy clubs and waking them up a bit. 2 days to go and starting to feel the nerves
Great to have almost everyone fit apart from Stankovic and Billing with long term knee injuries. Having Palmer back is the best bit of news we could have had and even if he is only on the bench it has increased our chances greatly
I hope we go up just so we can get Palmer and Brown back again next season. Chelsea are very lucky to have two young lads that aren't just excellent players but also real down to earth great lads to have around the club

Sounds like our chances of getting Mooy permanently are very slim. Can see him ending up somewhere like Newcastle or West Ham which he deserves as he was fantastic this season. Jury is out as to whether he will be quick enough for the Premier League but his speed of thought definitely is
Rumoured signings so far include:
Kasey Palmer
Izzy Brown
Tammy Abraham
Lewis Holtby
Ashley Fletcher
Frazier Campbell
Mark Uth
Nils Petersen
It's certainly going to be an interesting summer

They’re getting anxious on the FB banter page. Was anyone at the West Ham game? Did it look like a team out of ideas because not much happened in the two Christmas ones and this is now worrying - have the “unknown quantity” now been figured out and have no more surprises? I’m not back until the Bournemouth game in February, that will be a hugely important game!!
I was at the West Ham game and watched the Stoke game live on TV and to say we look out of ideas would be kind. I can't see anything but relegation based on current performances Sa Calobra said:

Sadly yes, just double checked It's great to be a Premier League side but I'm not sure I fancy watching many more seasons where scoring goals is so difficult. I can't really blame Wagner either because of the quality of players he has to work with, some of whom wouldn't even start for most Championship teams
