Once it’s registered, there’s nothing to complete. They probably just want the commission from the van sale and can’t be bothered with the other work.

Interestingly, the manual just says, if you fit a tow bar make sure it meets current standards. That's very accommodating of them, I thought.
Plus, I got some quotes, then contacted my local Vauxhall place and the Vauxhall dealer is the cheapest quoter. Never expected that.
