Have you pulled all the old insulation out and discarded it?

I noticed in your first post you mentioned "Bonus, fully insulated" and assumed you were talking about the van, but it looks like you've now stripped it back to the metal?

That short red-haired woman seems to be doing most of the work.

Looking good, it's been done before with Delicas and Vitos so hopefully this goes as well! I've seen the donor Bongo up for sale at some point on the Mazda Bongo owners club, its a shame it's in such a state, the body kit is definitely unique.

my first thought was to try to revive the bongo, but the floor is fred flintstone rotten the rust is horrendous everywhere, the engine has no cylinder head and damaged pistons and the interior is oily and mouldy. its next road trip is to the crusher.

Ah missed the gear knob. CC would be a nice addition. Did you need to code it in?

Are you launching a jet ski directly out the back of the van?

I have rarely seen this done successfully if you are.

Did you cut that back into the dash?

Just fitted a double din in ours and that looks an ideal spot for the old display.
