Vauxhall DTi engines vs. CDTi engines
Discussion
I'm considering changing the daily diesel hack for a vectra (que masses of abuse!...) and my budget puts my squarely between a car with a late DTi engine and an early CDTi.
I've done a small amount of homework and have gathered that the old 2.0 DTi engine is fairly gutless unless you have either an SRi or go for the 2.2
As for the CDTi it seems much more upto date and is probably much more refined. My question is really, what are they like to live with in the real world? and am I going to really regret buying DTi instead of the CDTi?
I've not had a chance to drive either yet so any help would be very useful.
Cheers guys.
